Welcome to the Website We Got Fun and Games

Mardi Gras was a champion time of parades, parties and best friend good times which rolled right into St. Patrick's Day festivities of more parades, parties and catching cabbages which danced right into Super Sunday and the exquisite, and only in New Orleans, Mardi Gras Indians in their so pretty suits and throughout that time there were photographs and inspirations but not so much poetry but that is about to change my friends...the poets, publishers and pirates of Six Ft. Swells Press have spent the last year planning, plotting, reconfiguring and readying the next After-Hour adventures on the dark seas of poetry.

We begin with our new website, where all things Six Ft. Swells and After-Hours will reside. We have worked hard to create the website and get the word out and appreciate your support and presence at the party.

Spring is the appropriate time to launch this website, after all we are children of the sun, happiest with water all around us or our toes in the warm sand of a faraway place where only the sound of birds, dolphins and rum bottles rule. We have exciting projects planned with the press and would love to have you onboard. Six Ft. Swells Press will continue to seek out and present you the most accessible, funny, heartbreaking, concise, adventurous After-Hours  poetry written today. Poetry for non-poetry lovers, poetry for soccer moms, poetry for back-alley brawls, poetry for Saturday picnics, last call poetry, bail money poetry, poetry for truck stops, poetry to break up or hook up to, poetry you can understand, poetry you can fall in love with, road trip poetry, no dictionary required poetry, lay your head on a shoulder poetry, slow dance in the lowlight poetry,  poetry for pirates. 

So explore the site, check out the poems, videos and buy some books, they make wonderful gifts for any reason at all.
